OpenVMS 8.4
Has anyone started using OpenVMS 8.4 in a Production environment?
Any issues with standard HP software - compilers (FORTRAN, C, JAVA), TCPIP, etc?
Any issues with 3rd party layered products - databases, BEAMessageQ, etc?
Any issues with open source products - Apache, ApacheTomcat, etc.?
Thanks.

Re: OpenVMS 8.4
Vince,
it is unlikely anyone is running V8.4 in a production environment and your question is somewhat open ended.
However do ensure you have the latest patch kits for V8.4
VMS84I_UPDATE-V0300
VMS84I_SYS-V0100
I64VMS-DECNET_PLUS-V0804--1
or alpha
VMS84A_UPDATE-V0100
VMS84A_SYS-V0100
DECNET_OSI-V0804--1

Re: OpenVMS 8.4
Ian,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I realize it is open-ended. I did not see any threads yet that addressed using OpenVMS 8.4, so I thought I would ask the question.
