... or spool the file to a temp file called "xxx_USERNAME" and then do the print. The username will be in the filename of the header. You can even include creation time in the file name.

Dan,

Is DCPS a requirement ?
What version of VMS are you running ?
Are there other OS (servers) in your environment ( Unix, Linux, Windows ) ?

Once I solved a very complex printproblem by sending a VMS-printjob through a UNIX-server.......

dcps is a requirement.
