OpenVMS SAN boot from Integrity servers...

Hi All,

i am facing issue with the San boot on integrity servers..

I have installed the OpenVMS 8.3-1H1 on SAN disk on rx2620 server.

Now i Can see the disks in my boot menu... when i try to boot the disk i got the below errors..


fs4:\EFI\VMS> VMS_LOADER fiber 1
........................................................................................................................
%IPB-W-NOSUCHDEVICE, unknown debug or dump device.
this is the error which am getting when i try to boot from command prompt


If i am trying to boot from menu, it says device not found.

Could someone help to get the issue fixed ASAP??

I have the lowest Firmware version of HBA card...

Could you please tell me the procedure/commands to update the FW from USB??

Google is your friend.

It is rather certain that an HP manual or HP service document exists that discusses that for whichever of the various host-bus adapter (HBA) devices you're working with here, including the EFI-level details for upgrading the firmware.

Once you have identified the particular HBA you're using here, then Google search with the site:hp,com keyword and the search term firmware, and you can also enter the part number for the particular FC SAN HBA in use here and the search term firmware into the search box on the front page of the www.hp.com web site.

In either case, see what turns up.
