(we use it, and it is by far the most stable database in the organisation. No rdb though, so no comparison there)

thanks to Sue for sharing this document with
us. It certainly is a good sign if Oracle does comitt on shipping the VMS version of Oracle classic very soon after the inital ship.
What also is needed though is support by applications that are layered on top of
Oracle like SAP. That would be a real opportunity for VMS to play on its strengths.

The document was dated February 2004. I found that odd, so I sent a note to the person listed on the document.
She wrote back saying that the error would be fixed.
