PRINT QUEUE SETUP

While setting up print queue on Open VMS 8.2 server, I found the following error
ERROR: $ RUN TCPIP$LPRSETUP.EXE;1
TCPIP$LPD_ROOT:[000000]TCPIP$PRINTCAP.DAT: no such file or directory

The steps I have followed are:
$ @SYS$STARTUP:TCPIP$STARTUP
$ UCX SHOW HOSTS 3.244.XX.XX
Host address Host name

3.244.XX.XX SYS$PRINTER
$ TCPIP
TCPIP> PING SYS$PRINTER
----SYS$PRINTER PING Statistics----
4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 0/0/1 ms
TCPIP> EXIT
$
$ RUN TCPIP$LPRSETUP.EXE;1
TCPIP$LPD_ROOT:[000000]TCPIP$PRINTCAP.DAT: no such file or directory

how to set up the print queue?

Re: PRINT QUEUE SETUP

You need to configure/enable LPD.

$ @sys$startup:tcpip$config

Enable LPD will create the ROOT and PRINTCAP
