Part numbers for OPEN VMS license.

Hi,

Can anybody tell me the URL for finding out the Open VMS part number ( ex: QL-XXXXX-XX) for openvms licenses. I have show license output from the server.

OpenVMS license information is generally included in the SPDs (Software Product Descriptions) found at:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/info/spd/

If you have the license PAK sheets for your server, the order number is printed on the upper half of that document.

Thanks for the info. Do you the URL to find SPD part numbers also ?. It is difficult to match "show license" output with decsription given in the spd web site.

Raghuram,

it is not straight-forward to match the product-name from SHOW LIC or LIC LIST to a license part number.

The SPDs do not contain the full part-numbers for the licenses, there are still some wildcards '*', which need to be substituted to obtain the final part number.
