Printing an HTML file from within VMS

Does anyone know of a way to convert an HTML file into either postscript or PCL ?

I need to perform the conversion on a VMS box running OpenVMS 8.3.

Re: Printing an HTML file from within VMS

I once installed mozilla on VMS 7.3. It's slow but it can print to a postscript file.

But why not access the page on PC and move the ps file to VMS ?

Re: Printing an HTML file from within VMS

What's your particular context?

This sort of access and conversion is normally implemented within a browser and Mozilla and sometimes Mosaic or Lynx are the common choices on OpenVMS, though it's easily conceivable that you could port over another tool and use that for the conversion.

Like OpenVMS, Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and other platforms can typically implement this conversion within their browsers.

There are conversion tools around such as the Perl html2ps and html2pdf and other such widgets.

Here are some pointers to tools:

Many thanks for replies - we are going to try the html2ps converter.
