Printing to a Network Printer directly without Queue
Hello,
is it possible, that i can set a TNA Device to an TCPIP Network Printer without using a queue?
Today, i use a serial device with LTA Port, tommorow i will use the same Printer but with a TCPIP Networkadapter and their IP-Adress.
Have a Idea

Re: Printing to a Network Printer directly without Queue
Vallentin,
You can create a telnet session to the printer. See Creating and Deleting Sessions in HP TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Management:

Re: Printing to a Network Printer directly without Queue
I also think you can create the LTA device, set it spooled so when the file is closed a job is set to a specified queue (which could be a telnet queue or dcps queue or whatever).
