Problem with TELNET CREATE_SESSION
Hello,
i have configured on a DECServer 90 M a seriell Port with Telnet Listener (Port 3 setting to 2003). On the VMS-System under Telnet i set the command "create_session katd0249 2003 5003" (TNA Port is 5003)
An dmy Answer of this command is "%TELNET-E-CONNFAIL, Failed to connect to remote host
-SYSTEM-F-REJECT, connect to network object rejected"
What is wrong?
Thanks for your Answers

Re: Problem with TELNET CREATE_SESSION
Vallentin,
Check if the port i sconfigured for remote access as Ian suggested.
Beffore creating the session, attach a terminal or printer to the server port and try:
$ TELNET katd0249 2003
If the connection will be ok, everithing you type will be displayed (or printed) on the terminal. When all is ok, create the session.
