Question: Alpha4100 - old machine

i want to check the Alpha4100 memory size. and now, one MMB is in my hand(MEM0L). but i cannot find any information about memory size on it. i can see two big modules and lots of small modules on the MMB. anybody knows how to check the memory size from physical hardware ?
it's urgent! thanks in advance !

Re: Question: Alpha4100 - old machine

1. Put the memory back in, boot and type >>> show memory.

2. Look at the memory card, and report any numbers that look like B3020-xx , B3030-xx, B3032-xx or MS320-xx or MS330-xx or MS332-xx. Tell us what the -xx is, and all will be revealed.

Re: Question: Alpha4100 - old machine

Just found something that indicates that the
B3030-FH is 1GB, not 512MB

Re: Question: Alpha4100 - old machine

B3030-FH = 512MB
i get this message from GOOGLE
could you help me to confirm it ?

the difference i can find from MMB hardware is that FA is from SEC Korea, and FH is from NEC Japan

Re: Question: Alpha4100 - old machine

David, where you get such message ?

you could type B3030-FH in GOOGLE, and you will see lots of results show that it's 512M

Re: Question: Alpha4100 - old machine

I found sites that list the FH module as 512MB
and some that say 1GB -- I suspect it is indeed
512MB. I haven't yet found anything to indicate
manufacturer details.
