Question about volume allocation in SLS 2.9F
While I know ABS/MDMS quite well, SLS is similar but quite different.
It's easy to see whether a volume is in allocated status, but I haven't been able to figure out how to tell to whom it's allocated.
Thanks in advance,
WWWebb

Re: Question about volume allocation in SLS 2.9F
The username is easy, because you can do a STORAGE REPORT VOLUME or STORAGE SHOW VOLUME or STORAGE SHOW VOLUME/SYMBOL commands.
If you use the /SYMBOL command you should look for a symbol with the name SLS$INQ_OWNER.
You should see something in the OWNER field
if the volume is allocated.

Re: Question about volume allocation in SLS 2.9F
It's not spelled out in the .pdf documentation, at least as much of it as I searched through.

Re: Question about volume allocation in SLS 2.9F
Are you asking about which process or what username it's allocated to?
