RCM collect MSA details?
I noticed that the RCM can do SAN walking and also collect data on the EVA. Can it collect data on the MSA1000 san?

Re: RCM collect MSA details?
Can you clarify which RCM you're referring to please?
From what I recall, T4 will collect data on EVA storage but not MSA. The MSA1000 controllers have CLI access through their console connections but I don't think it will provide performance information through the CLI.

Re: RCM collect MSA details?
Collecting the configuration information. I know we used to be able to connect to HSG/HSJ directly from VMS to get the configuration data.
RCM is the tool used with ESMG to collect configuration details. RCM can walk through other SAN configurations to capture the data. I don't have a remote console on the MSA - hoping to get one added.
We are inheriting the support of the MSA and are hoping to get best practices in place but we have to first capture all details so we understand how it was setup and why.
