RMS_FILEPROT in SYSGEN

Hi,

The RMS_FILEPROT parameter in SYSGEN is default 64000, that means (S:RWED,O:RWED, G:RE, W:). But what does the value 65280 mean?

Regards,

Kirsten

You can find more information on page 274 in the System Service manual Part 1 (SYS1-274), as stated in the SySGEN help.

Re: RMS_FILEPROT in SYSGEN

Kirsten,

see ATW topic 4751:

http://h71000.www7.hp.com/wizard/wiz_4751.html

64000. = %X0000FA00 = S:RWED,OW:RWED.G:RE,W:
65280. = %X0000FF00 = S:RWED,OW:RWED,G:,W:

Bits set indicate access denied.
