SMH version 2: SMH$CPQHEALTH process

Anyone else using SMH? I recently installed it and I noticed one of the processes, SMH$CPQHEALTH, is using up a lot of CPU. Was just wondering if anyone else encountered the same situation and if it's normal. I'm thinking of setting the process priority to 1.

Hmm... looks like SMH$CPQHEALTH watches the operator log file and on this system the operator log file is extremely busy!

sounds as wonderful as the BMC Patrol log file watcher.

SMH Engineering team has released a patch for this issue. though SMH still monitors operator.log, latest released patch will reduce the CPU consumption significantly.
Newly released patch name is SMH V2.0-20

Thanks for the info... if I'm not mistaken, the patch is only for Itanium, not Alpha.

SMH team released the patch for Itanium only.
