Dear 'SYSTEM-F-LINKABORT, network partner aborted logica',

welcome to the OpenVMS ITRC forum.

Are you trying to imply, that 20.99 and MARC99 are the same nodes as node 0:: ?

For a LINKABORT message, you would normally look into the login-directory of the 'remote user' of the connection to look for a NET*SERVER.LOG file and any error messages in that file for further troubleshooting.

SYSTEM-F-LINKABORT,

There are a variety of reasons why the remote file access listener (aka FAL) would close a logical link.

As Volker has said, examine the NET*SERVER.LOG files on nodes 20.99 and MARC99 (if they are not indeed one and the same) for details as to the actual problem.
