Setting IMAP email to on vacation using HP TCPIP on VMS
I want to set my email to away on vacation and using HP TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.4 - ECO 6
on a AlphaServer DS20 500 MHz running OpenVMS V7.3-2. If someone can point me in a direction to find how to do this, i would be most grateful
Thanks,
Steve Smith

Re: Setting IMAP email to on vacation using HP TCPIP on VMS
There isn't a built-in means that I am aware of.
One potential solution is the old DELIVER package, which can be found on various older Freeware distros.
Setting this up can be slightly tricky, as you don't usually want to reflect messages onto distribution lists and such.

Re: Setting IMAP email to on vacation using HP TCPIP on VMS
Steve,
The solution is maybe bigger then the question.
A possibility is to add CommunicatePro (free for 4 user/personal use), make this you're OpenVMS mail server as wel and let this forward your mail.
If you have set it up you will realise the rest you can do with it ...:O
