SmartArray 5302
I have a SmartArray 5302 on a DS25 running VMS 7.3-2. Does anyone know if its possible to direct controller events to the VMS console. If a volume set becomes degraded then I want to be able to see a message on the console. I have the mgmt_agents installed and can see the controller via a browser, but just wondered if I could get messages sent to the console.

Re: SmartArray 5302
The SEA component of WEBES 4.3.4 lists the Smart Array 5304 controller as supported for OpenVMS for analysis and bit-to-text translation.
So if you would be running WEBES 4.3.4, you could expect to receive a mail notification, if there is a problem on the Smart Array...
Volker.

Re: SmartArray 5302
and webes can be obtained from
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/svctools/webes/
You would be running it anyway on a DS25.
