We have been running Sybase client 10.0.4 with 7.3-2 without any problems for quite a while. Until the database/application was migrated to Oracle as support from Sybase was discontinued and thus no further development would be made to keep Sybase up with the improved VMS 7.3-2 (and up) functions.
