Hello
I just installed the TCPIP_ECO V5.4-154 Patch on OpenVMS 7.3-2.
Since this time I can't connect to another Host by ssh. I'm using Private/Public Key pairs.
ssh remote-host.x.y
FATAL: Freeing block that is already freed
%TCPIP-F-SSH_FATAL, non-specific fatal error condition
Can somebody help with above Error Message

Re: %TCPIP-F-SSH_FATAL, non-specific fatal error condition
Hello,
I just got the same exact error after upgrading to Tcpip 5.4 ECO 4. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
The error message is somewhat generic, but based on the fact it appeared after an upgrade this is probably down to having more than one IdKey in the IDENTIFICATION. file. This issue should be fixed in the next ECO.
For the time being either change INDENTIFICATION. to have only one IdKey entry, or (not recommended) downgrade to ECO 2.

Re: %TCPIP-F-SSH_FATAL, non-specific fatal error condition
Thanks, it works with one Key in Identification.
