TCPIP$NFS crashes system
Hi,
I encounter regular crashes of my system while
NFS is in use. It is just one Linux client connected, which transfers a lot of files.
A little file browsing or the editing of just one file seems to be o.k.
System is DS10, Openvms V8.2 with nearly all patches and TCPIP V5.5-Eco1.
Since it is a hobbyist system, a call to HP is not possible.
I've attached the CLUE file, may be someone can shed some light or has encountered similar crashes.
regards Kalle

Re: TCPIP$NFS crashes system
You need a patch to TCPIP$NFS_SERVICES.EXE.
Unfortuntely I don't know the process for hobbyist systems, so I can only tell you that that image ident is V5.5-11ECO1A

Re: TCPIP$NFS crashes system
I managed to make a call via a customer and received the new image.
It was called TCPIP$NFS_SERVICES.EXE_QXCM1000245745 and has indeed the Ident "V5.5-ECO1".
I was not able to reproduce the crash with this image. So if you are using NFS Server on VMS you should try to get this also.
