TLViz V1.4-43

I've recently had to have my PC rebuilt. Now TLViz V1.4-43 won't run. I receive a pop up window stating: "Component 'TeeChart5.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."
Does anyone have any idea how I can correct this or where I can pull down another TLViz and ... try again?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Are you taking about OpenVMS here ? If not, then this is the wrong forum ...

Thanks & regards,
Lokesh

Re: TLViz V1.4-43

Hi Bob,

I also thought you were in the wrong forum until I remembered my OpenVMS Journal.

At th end of the article on TLViz there was the following link...

Re: TLViz V1.4-43

Lokesh... TLViz is a tool that runs on a PC to obtain graphical displays of monitor generated .CSV files. I would like to think that it was close enough to OpenVMS to have asked the question on this forum.

Duncan... I'll try to contact Steve ... again.

Thanks guys!

Re: TLViz V1.4-43

did you re-install TLViz ?

TLViz is not offically supported but Steve Lieman is a helpful chap so you will probably get a useful answer.

Re: TLViz V1.4-43

Bob,
even TLViz is a tool for vms your problem is located on PC, so I guess you could meet more lucky in m$ forum.
Because your message is .ocx not registered I guess your installation is not right ended.
You could:
a) Reinstall software
b) search TeeChart5.ocx in your HD and copy it in \windows\system32 (I assumed windows is your windows root) where system search for all DLL; if doesn't work you can copy in \windows\system.
You can open register within regedit command and search in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software the folder of software producter then inside this find for any key about pathing. Use of regedit may be very dangerous, so if you are not sure avoit that.

Re: TLViz V1.4-43

Ian... I've tried that.

Antoniov... I've done a search of the HD and the file isn't found.

I've sent an email to Steve. Hopefully he can set me straight.

Consider this question closed and thanks to those who replied.

Re: TLViz V1.4-43

I like your words: slight disconnect :-)

The tool works fine, I have played with it on Pieronne's PC.
