UNABLE TO DISMOUNT A DISK
I am trying to dismount a disk that is mounted as system with: DISMOUNT DGA3:..
I receive:
%DISM-W-CANNOTDMT, DGA3: cannot be dismounted
%DISM-W-SPOOLEDEV, 1 device spooled to volume
How can I determine what is spooled so that I can dismount this disk??

There are some DCL procedures over in that thread that can locate which device is spooled to this device, and an explanation of the details of spooled devices.
There's certainly a reasonable case for an enhancement to SHOW DEVICE /FULL lurking here, where the command would detect and would display the disk device associated with a spooled device.

Re: UNABLE TO DISMOUNT A DISK
While I agree with Hoff that having a command file to locate the offending spooled device is handy, I must admit that in many cases the problem is a SHOW QUE away.
Most likely, one of your printers is spooled.
