Very Slow Response of SSH (VMS 8.3)

I did the rolling upgrade from VMS 7.3-2 to VMS 8.3
And TCPIP 5.4 to 5.6 with latest ECO KIT.

It seems everything is working fine except ssh

If I do, telnet or FTP to the host it├в s working fine.
But if I do SSH to this server it will take 1 to 2 min to get Prompt for the password.
Can please any once advice me what configuration need to change to get it resolve.

-Also I am attaching the config file for reference.

Re: Very Slow Response of SSH (VMS 8.3)

Is DND really required for this? I am not sure

I am using IP Address to connect to the Host.

Re: Very Slow Response of SSH (VMS 8.3)

DNS is not required, but the SSH server does reverse look ups so that has the information in case the configuration file restricts access from certain hosts or to find the host key for host key authentication.

Re: Very Slow Response of SSH (VMS 8.3)

Ian Miller and Richard Whalen,

DNS was not correct, now it is ok... DNS Lookup is working fine
Also I stop start the service after this.

But still i am facing same issue.

DNS look-up of _what_ is working fine? The
problem is likely to be the reverse look-up,
that is, number-to-name.

It would be nice to see actual nslookup
results, rather than just your assurance that
things are "working fine".

Also, "ssh -v [...]" may give you a better
idea of what is happening when.
