anybody knows about the sys$get_env_sensor service

Anybody who knows that how to use the sys$get_env_sensor system service or any information how to get the cpu health readings such as temperature, fan speed etc out of Alpha DS25?

SYS$ things sound more like OpenVMS things.

You should have it to use SEA to decode the error log on a DS55.

Re: anybody knows about the sys$get_env_sensor service

Jim,

WBEM (Web-Based Enterprise Management) may provide this kind of information via a WEB interface (for certain systems). See the WBEM Management Agents software for OpenVMS:

http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/products/wbem/wbem_index.html

The internal system service SYS$GET_ENV_SENSORS is not documented.
