Solution
Hi TMcB
If I look at the DECnet Tower in the output of mc ncl sho node ruby1, I can see that You configured to run DECnet over TCPIP.
(
[ DNA_CMIP-MICE ] ,
[ DNA_SessionControlV2 , number = 19 ] ,
[ DNA_OSItransportV1 , 'DEC0'H ] ,
[ DNA_IP , 0.0.0.0 ]
) ,
Could it be possible that the another Node is only reachable with Decnet over IP? Then you should start the PWIP Driver which is not started (otherwise you would see another address in the tower than 0.0.0.0)
Regards
Geni

Re: decnet plus not working after new network card
Hi everyone
I decided to reboot ruby1, and when it came up again everything is working OK.
Although glad its now working, it is quite annoying as now I'm not sure what resolved the issue.
Thanks you all so much for replying - you have been a great help
