one question about <return> code

i create a *.htm file and write 3 lines into it.
then, i download this file to my PC(windows platform) and open the html file
3 lines become into 1 line...

do you know how i can do to seperate them to different lines(in HTM file) when i do the script in VMS ? is there any code like "vbCr"?

Re: one question about <return> code

Davor,
We also create html-files on the VMS platform. Normally, we don't care about the format, but sometimes we do. So certain pages we convert to the Stream_LF format using a simple FDL file.
If those pages are transfered (using FTP (ASCII mode)) to a Windows platform and then opened using Wordpad, they look identical with respect to the originals on VMS.
Hope this helps.

Re: one question about <return> code

thanks for your reminding...
i found the way.
we can save the file to be TXT in VMS
but when downloading to windows flatform, we can save it as HTML file...

and then i can see that the s are there :)
