sftp on OpenVMS (continued)
In the thread started on 22-Dec-2005, Volker Halle discussed setting up hostbased authentication for sftp. We are running OpenVMS 7.3-2 and TCP/IP Services 5.4 ECO 5.
We have a 2-node cluster and after enabling SSH on both systems there are two versions of the private and public key files (hostkey. and hostkey.pub) in the TCPIP$SSH_DEVICE:[TCPIP$SSH.SSH2] directory. Does one of the key files correspond with one of the systems and thus must be used for that system? How do the files get differentiated? Or can we only use sftp on a single system in a cluster?
It was mentioned that batch mode sftp works fine with TCP/IP Services 5.5. Can good results be obtained with version 5.4 ECO 5?

Re: sftp on OpenVMS (continued)
Check the release notes but my understanding is that TCP/IP Services 5.5 and 5.4 ECO 5 should both have the bug fixes.
