snmp on vms 7.1 ucx 4.2

Hi All ,
I have 2 servers and on one of them i can see snmp but it is disabled. on the otherone it wasn't listed in ucx sho services * list. i have enabled it via ucx$config but i have promted to give some credentials like community name ...etc. then i wanted to check the server on which snmp is already enabled but ucx sho services snmp/full didn't give me the community name ..etc.
how can i see these values ... ?

UCX SHOW CONFIGURATION SNMP

should display the community name etc.

Re: snmp on vms 7.1 ucx 4.2

According to the comment:
$!
$! P2: optional
$! The function to be performed. (See above)
$! ZONE/RULE/TDF/ALL/SHOW
$! Default is ALL

so

@UTC$TIME_SETUP.COM "" SHOW

LOCAL TIME ZONE = MET -- DAYLIGHT TIME
LOCAL SYSTEM TIME = 6-JUL-2007 12:50:21.96 (MEST)
TIME DIFFERENTIAL FACTOR = 2:00
TIME ZONE RULE = MET-1MEST-2,M3.4.0/02,M10.4.0/03
Change MET to MEST on the Fourth Sunday of March (25-Mar-2007) at 02:00
Change MEST to MET on the Fourth Sunday of October (28-Oct-2007) at 03:00

Ooops,

I just noticed you are running V7.1, my examples are on V8.2 or V8.3, no v7.1 system to test...

Re: snmp on vms 7.1 ucx 4.2

$ @sys$manager:utc$time_setup "" show
%UTC-I-UPDTIME, updating Time Zone information in SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]
Configure which time parameter (TIMEZONE/TDF/BOTH/NONE)? [BOTH]

i gave NONE and quit out.

this command want me to give answers but i want to see information.

Re: snmp on vms 7.1 ucx 4.2

Just type /page the older UTC$TIME_SETUP.COM
You'll soon see how it is not geared to display.
It just chooses:
UTC$CONFIGURE_TDF.COM and/or UTC$TIMEZONE_SETUP.COM

Those do not display either.
They just create files like:
:[SYSEXE]sys$timezone_src.dat

fwiw,
Hein.

Re: snmp on vms 7.1 ucx 4.2

Wouldn't

$ SHOW LOGICAL SYS$*TIME*

be enough to show the current settings?
