Alpha Worstation XP1000 (TRU64UNIX v.4.0F) memory testing
Hi Friends,
I have a machine Alpha Workstation XP1000 and the running OS is TRU64UNIX v.4.0F.
The machine reboot so often.
How can I test the memory to prove it good or bad?
Which command I can use to test it?
Thanks,

Re: Alpha Worstation XP1000 (TRU64UNIX v.4.0F) memory testing
The problem can be caused by an environmental problem. You should check the output of uerf -R -o full.
You can use memx. I use vdump to test memory as I have found that when testing memory, vdump quickly is able to crash the system, even better than memex.

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
