Breaking 'root' password. "URGENT"

Hi, i am using Tru64 ver5.1. I accidently have forgotten my password to ROOT. Can anybody tell me that how can i break ROOT's password as i don't have any other account to log into it?

You must stop all applications and "hard" halt the server by pressing the halt button or issuing the halt-in command in the SCM/MBM (gs-es models).

Then boot the server in single user mode, in single user mode, password for root is not prompted:

boot -fl s

bcheckrc
passwd (Change your password)

exit


Ensure that you won't forget the password again. You can install sudo to allow administrative tasks to normal users.
