Hello Bruce, I recommend you to create the fp_dynamic directory and then copy the dtwm.fp file there.

mkdir -p $HOME/.dt/types/fp_dynamic

Trust this solves the problem.

Ok I did created the directory and copied the file over but I now get a fron panel with a dtterm icon a printer icon and a text editor icon on it. How can I get the file manager and application icons on the front panel?
