Simpler Navigation for Servers and Operating Systems - Please Update Your Bookmarks
Completed: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We combined many of the older boards, so you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. Check the consolidated boards here as many sub-forums are now single boards.

Yes. Either through Software (LSM), or HArdware (HSx controller? EVA? KZPSC?)

Note: LSM features such as mirroring and striping require a separate software license

I'm sure there is, but if you use hardware mirroring (which IMHO is the easiest), we woudl need to knwo which storage hardware you intend to use. Not much documentation needed though for hardware. Just select 'raid-1' as you create virtual storage, or 'add mirror' and so on.

For the Software solution, checkthe LSM doc, and the Tru64 Installation guide.
"Configuring the Logical Storage Manager (LSM)"

http://h30097.www3.hp.com/docs/base_doc/DOCUMENTATION/V51B_HTML/ARH8SETE/FLLVRVWC.HTM#lsm-config-sect

and:

good luck,
Hein.

I'm not sure if KZPSC is supported for DS20E, please check with your HW-provider, if beeing considered.
