In Tru64 5.1B, can we resend root's mail to me@company.com?

Thanks

Create a file /.forward, containing :

\ME, me@company.com

Possible, if 'sendmail' is configured properly.

Johan,

Thanks for your reply. It does work. Can you tell me how it works? If in TruCluster, is it the same setting?

Thanks a lot

Re: Can we resend root's mail to me@company.com?

It'll work in TruCluster too. TruCluster is a single system image cluster. All cluster member nodes will see the same /.forward file.

Another way to do this is to add your email to the root: line in your aliases file. For example:

root: me@company.com

After that run newaliases.
