Cannot Telnet

Hi Guys,

I have newly installed a Tru64 4.0F but when I do telnet to the IP it says

Escape character is '^]'.
telnetd: login_tty: Not a typewriter
.
Connection closed by foreign host.


Any ideas?

V4.x is before my time, so I know nothing,
but I'd look at the tty|pty|whatever-they-are
device files.

i got this working.

just make the var_domain#var mounted
