Daylight Savings Time and DEC Unix 4.0D

I have three DEC 3000 systems running DEC Unix 4.0D. Is there a patch to accomodate the upcoming daylight savings time switch on an OS this old or will this require a manual resetting of the time. We are located in Virginia. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

If you don't have a patch (I think that you wont get it) you don need to manually change the time but you need to manually create your time zone DST rules. See:

Or better yet, use the manual update workaround procedures that were written specifically for unsupported Tru64 UNIX versions:

http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000085095900 for Tru64 UNIX version 4.

Thanks very much for the timely response and info. I updated the required source file with the new DST rules, recompiled, and all went well. Again, my thanks!
