ES 40 won't reconize the correct cpu speed

I have an es 40 with two 667 cpu's on the boot it sees them as 337's and hangs after it inits the second cpu. The system was powered down for an add on nic but never recovered.

Hi Dan,

did you check the nic by removing it to seeif the system starts again?
What model of nic did you add?

Problem 1:
ES40 is reporting CPU speed of 357MHZ when CPU's are really 500MHZ.

Analysis:
This ES40 had 4 CPU's in the system. The system will boot OK.

When issuing the console command P0>>>SHOW CONFIG
The system would report the CPU speed as being 357MHZ.
Engineering had mentioned they have seen this problem and replacing
the TOY battery will fix the problem.

Problem 2:

Console reports "No Timers interupts on CPU 0 "

Solution:
Replace the TOY battery on the PCI motherboard.
