ES40
The console disply of my ES40 system displys FAN1 faulty and Fan2 Faulty. Kindly give me tips to isolate the problem to teh FRU. Both the fans are running. But the env at RMC> shows that the FAN1 and FAN2 speeds are high hence the systems is being shutdown.

Re: ES40
Most probably it is the mother board. The Fan failure has certain coupling in reporting if the mother board is bad, I can't remember exactly, the HP engineers should know this better than me .. You have 6 fans in an ES40, and they have certain number according to their location...,
You should call them and they can help you better.
