HA LAN Interconnect switches

Does anyone have recommendations for 8-port switches that I can use in an HA LAN interconnect. I'll be using GbE (copper) in a two-node cluster using 5.1B.
Haven't found any specific hardware mentioned in any of the cluster manuals.

network hardware is not mentioned with name, modell etc. within the installation guide.
But check the hardware installation manual for TruCluster (www.tru64unix.compaq.com -> documentation -> Trucluster -> 5.1b)

Btw. the manual contains information what mechanism like STP etc. must be supported by the switch for proper use.

So a managed switch is the best choice. Features like portconfiguration are necessary in case of netrain.
