Luciano,
It is my fault, but what do you mean with HBA ?
If it is a Host Bus Adapter, then you can find already a lot with the hwmgr command ?
First you can find the adapters with the command
# hwmgr view hierarchy | grep adapters
This shows the hardware id in the first colom and an adapter type in the second.
For more info, you give the command
# hwmgr -get attr -id
