HP 4100N print job ends if output tray fills up

One of our users very often sends 300+ page print jobs to her 4100N printer, there have been times that she is not able to pull the documents before the tray fills up and shuts off. This is expected behavior, but when she clears the tray and the job continues it is only printing 1 or 2 more pages and quits in the middle of a page, with many pages to go. There is no error it is just like the print queue has gone away.

Have you seen this behavior before and is there a way around it?
