How do I clone my boot disk

Hi,

I need to clone my boot disk how to do the task
can i know the setps.New Boots disk will be in
the EMC Storage.

And Can I keep 3 boot disk in the system

Hi,

you can use dd to do.

#dd if=/dev/disk/xxx of=/dev/disk/yyy bs=512k

for 5.x systems there is a howto within "best practice" section of www.tru64unix.compaq.com/documentation.

Cloning is only supported if using same disk on same machine not to clone the disk for other systems (if hardware differences exists).
