How to backup and restore LSM boot disk

Hello Everyone
I read others's good opinions.
But I don't know extactly.
I have backup tape ( #vdump -0uf /dev/ntape/tapeo /, /usr, /var)

I want to know extactly procedure.
Also, I read some manuals.

My Information as followings
1.OS: Tru64 UNIX 5.1B
2.BOOT: LSM and Advfs
3.boot disk: dsk0
4./etc/fstab

root_domain#root / advfs rw 0 1
usr_domain#usr /usr advfs rw 0 2
usr_domain#var /var advfs rw 0 2

5.disklabel information(Please Attach info)

I don't know exactly after booting CD-Rom.
I go to command line.
I don't know the next procedure.

1.disklabel new_disk
2.newfs new_disk
3.how to mount disk to restore backup
4.restore backup and rebooting
5.check...

Please let me how to solve my questions.
I want to exactly example.
If you give some explains as some word,
it couldn't help me.
I already foud some infomation in books.

why do you want to restore the boot disk?
Is the machine still running?

Hi again,

something more. These procedure are described in the Logical Storage Manager Docs. If your system if still running you may want to create a bootable tape with btcreate.
