Re: I would like to create a Bootable DVD with a 2.4 GB image

.GHO is a norton ghost file created by a PC. There is no tools on Unix or Linux side which can convert this to another format. Norton changed the file format several time to I can not believe someone tries to use this format on other platforms or versions of Norton Ghost except the one who created the image....

Btw. Google is your friend, please use it next time to answer the question by yourself....

Re: I would like to create a Bootable DVD with a 2.4 GB image

Even if you are able to create such a DVD, my best guess would be that you are un-able to boot from it.

Any image i created (with mkisofs) bigger than 1Gb(-1byte) wasn't able create a bootable DVD on any of our Alpha's (Neither UNIX of OpenVMS)

My best guess is that ISO doesn't permit images bigger than 1Gb, but maybe its just me. (or the Alpha)
