Java & Oracle support on Tru64

On HP Tru64 Unix v5.1b, I want to upgrade Java version from 1.4.2-3 to 1.4.2-4.p2

The current Oracle version on the system is 9.2.0.5.

Is an Oracle upgrade to Oracle 10g reqd if I upgrade to Java 1.4.2-4.p2?

This is a little speculative but I think you should be in good shape.

Typically a new version of Oracle requires a newer Java, not the other way around.

And if need be you can have multiple Java environments by exporting the right JAVA_HOME to the PATH for a given process no?

Also... I thought it was JDK 1.3.1 for Oracle 9.2
