I am trying to set up the SWCC software to monitor my KZPCC-CE controller.
I have installed both the client and the server software. When I start the client it tells me that there is no agent running on the server. The agent is running on the server.
The KZPCC manual refers to - StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC) Getting
Started Guide (EK-SWCCD-GS), User Guide. I have tried to find these manuals, but with no luck.
Is there a way to trouble shoot this problem?
Thanks
Andrew

Re: KZPCC SWCC configuration, KZPCConfig and manuals
This looks to be the place to start:

Hope this helps,

SolutionYou configure if the client can view/ configure and/or recieve messages from the agent.
My experince is, this works best if the SWCC-command-console client is specified using FQDN, not just ip-address.
for this you either need to match DNS-configuration on both Tru64 and windows side(if you have one), or add the SWCC-command-console client to the /etc/hosts file (both shortname and FQDN).

Re: KZPCC SWCC configuration, KZPCConfig and manuals
I found an extract of the documentation on the web, together with the information from Pieter I came right.
The Tru64UNIX hostname has to match the IP interface name as well.
