License True 64
i have a DS 20 Alpha Server with License for one processor. Do i need to buy additition License when i put the second processor. i really want to know. I have true 64 5.1b. After i installed and put the license. It still show no license. What do you think.

Hi,
I think you can install your second processor, but it should not work until you have got your new (SMP ?) license.
Best way is to contact your sales rep.
"when a single operating system is used for all instances (OpenVMS) or hard partitions (Tru64 UNIX or OpenVMS) on a single system:
Each system requires a single Operating System Base License for its first CPU and an SMP Extension for each of the remaining CPUs (or pair of CPUs, in case of dual CPU boards)."
