Login failed with ftp

Hi,

I created user account for ftp login,
But I got the following error:
# ftp truserverz1
Connected to truserverz1
220 truserverz1 FTP server (Compaq Tru64 UNIX Version 5.60) ready.
Name (truserverz1:root): xah_ftp
331 Password required for xah_ftp.
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.

I am sure the password is correct. How can I troubleshoot the problem and have it solved?

Hi,

Please ignore this message. It is actualy the problem with the password I created with sysman utiltiy. I remembered I have entered password for this ftp user account in sysman, but it is not correct. After changed the password with passwd, now I can ftp into the server.
