Re: NFS Backup
This is the problem.
I have to make a backup in the machine "A" that hasnt got a tape drive.
So I have to make a nfs.
Other problem is that the machine "B" hasnt got so many space, soy I have to make the machine "A" like nfs.
The point is that "A" just got 22GB free in its /in FileSystem. Thats all I have.
So what I want is to setup a nfs in "A",just to "B" make the backup over "A".
I tried to clone and all that Bul...ht, but it didnt work.
If you need more info let me know.
Thks.

Re: NFS Backup
1. use rvdump, if you got 5.x
2. use remote shell, there are other threads in this forum, use the search function.
How far did you get with nfs?

Re: NFS Backup
I'm using this rvdump, is a little slow, but i think it's fine.
I decided to use it, because I havent got space or "special" disk in machine "A", so I'm using the rvdump.
Thks a lot.
