Partitioning of a server into two or more
Partition one :4 CPU & 8 GB RAM
Partition two:2 CPU & 4 GB RAM
(How partitioning works-
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/index.htm?info/rzajx/rzajxoverview.htm)
We want to replace it with a HP Alpha server running Tru64 Unix. I have following question
1- Is Alpha server support partitioning?
2- If yes, What additional layred product we require for partitioning?
2- We need an alpha server with 150,000 Tpc-c as replacement. Any one suggest a model (and URL)
Thanks in advance

8 Processor:

All EV7 based Systems support HW-Partioning by default.
