there is no command prompt. it goes directly to the menu.. I cant initiate the command show units

The KZPBA-CB/CY has terminator resistor
packs on the card.
In my limited (but varied) SCSI experience,
a LUN flood like this is usually caused by a
SCSI ID conflict (like having a disk at the
same ID as the adapter). Bad termination
could do it, too, I suppose.
Of course, any problem is easier to find if
it doesn't vanish.

i read something unusual in above info.
I would suggest that what the RA3000 did is create 6 virtual disks on 6 physical disks as a stripeset.
How many devices does the host see?
